The CIA

is not supposed to be operating on American soil.
If they are working from a desk in Langley, they are not allowed to have operatives spying on people on American soil. That’s the official story.
Unofficially, if you have a cover story, like, say, you’re an author! Or a publisher! You can do anything you like! Because after all, you’re not operating in an official capacity, right? Right?
That’s all I’m saying. The interdimensional gossip columnist would like you to know that a CIA operative operating a disinformation campaign on American soil against the American people is a danger, not a threat to the national interest.
 It is illegal.
So if you’re operating as a CIA mole disinformation agent working against the best, highest interests of the American people, then that makes you a traitor.
And, say, if you are a person who works from inside who has them on the payroll, that’s a really big No no, isn’t it?
Unofficially no. 
But it’s still a really big no-no.
We don’t like it.
We see right through you.
We know what you can do.
We know who they are. What they like, what they dislike. 
And even they’re tired of this charade. They hate it. They hated the last time they had to do it. They hated having to lie to the public. The people who don’t have anything to do with national security.
They’re tired.
They’re tired of the lies.
They don’t know so much about “this” per se,
but they’re tired of information gathering for disinformation purposes.
 And I bet if you spoke with her, she’d agree with you on that.
